It has been a long time since our last post. In the meantime we have made some good progress with our project.
During our trip to Crete this January, with the help of a good family friend and olive oil expert, we got in contact with the best artisan olive oil producers. Our visit coincided with the harvest period. This gave us the chance to walk their fields, discuss with them and follow all the production, from field to press. Upon tasting numerous varieties on location, we settled on a select batch of extra virgin olive oil prepared by the small monastic community of Agarathos from field to, bottle.
